Welcome to Lord Cox & Salt Solicitors. Previously the Ashton office of Pluck Andrew Solicitors, we are a new firm that specialises in Family Law. With a compassionate and client focussed approach, we are dedicated to providing expert legal advice and representation in all aspects of Family Law relating to children.
The firm’s three Partners Matthew Lord, Rachael Cox and Charlotte Salt are all members of the Law Society’s Children Panel of accredited specialist solicitors. This signifies their expertise and commitment to dealing with cases in legal proceedings involving children. Between them Matthew, Rachael and Charlotte have been members of the Children panel for over 40 years and they have the knowledge, skill and experience to handle the most complex and difficult cases that come before the Courts.

Funding
We have a contract with the Legal Aid Agency which enables us to grant Legal Aid in urgent situations. Our Legal Aid contract also allows us to cover all family law hearings in appropriate circumstances. If you think you may be eligible for Legal Aid, get in touch and we can make an urgent assessment.
When clients are not eligible for Legal Aid we offer our services to clients on a private paying basis and often offer fixed fee rates. We always ensure that our fee quotations are reasonable and transparent throughout the process.
